Located at the southern end of the great expanse of Lake Malawi, the park lies within the Western Great Rift Valley.
Lake Malawi is one of the deepest lakes in the world. The lake is 706 meters at its deepest point and is surrounded by exceptional natural beauty with the rugged landscapes around it contrasting with the remarkably clear waters of the lake.
