Get active and enjoy the great outdoors in Malawi travelling up North as far as 518 kilometers.
It is a 9 Hour and 5 minute drive from Lilongwe to Nyika National Park.
Your first stop will be 3 Hours into your drive in Mzimba District. Mzimba is the home to the Mbelwa Kingdom of the Ngoni tribe which traces its heritage, roots and origins to the Zulu Nation of South Africa.
You will spend 2 nights in Mzimba where you will appreciate the present day life of the communities and learn about their History and also visit interesting sites with ancient cave art and early settlement and industrialization features (Iron smelting sites).
After the cultural experience with the Ngoni people of Mzimba, you will next stop in Nkhatabay which boasts preserved white sand beaches and clear blue waters.
After 2 nights in tranquil you will proceed to the majestic Nyika National Park which is set in the highlands of Northern Malawi.

Head down South 379 kilometers from Lilongwe to the climax of your Journey which is Mulanje Mountain.
It is a 4 Hour and 44 minute drive from Lilongwe to Mulanje Mountain.
Your first stop will be 2 Hours into your drive in Mangochi District. Mangochi is a lake district on the Southern Shore of Lake Malawi. Mangochi is also home to Domwe and Mumbo island at the Nankhumba Peninsula , Cape Maclear. Experience clear water paradaise and Lake Malawi National Park on this trip.
Your next stop is Liwonde National Park in luxurious Bush setting accomodation where the park hosts Hippo's, Giraffe, a River Boat Cruise on the Shire River which is a tributary to the Great Zambezi River.
You then stop in Zomba, to experience the Highlands and Plateau and your final stop is the majestic Mulanje mountain which stands at an altitude of 3,002 meters, 9,849 ft.
